Small Gas Springs – 10N Start Force

GASTAC small gas springs are compact gas springs with a 3 mm, 4 mm or 6 mm piston rod and an 8 mm, 12 mm or 15 mm cylinder. They are cycle tested to 30,000 strokes (4-12 series, 29.97 mm stroke), deliver force from 10 N to 350 N, and cover stroke lengths from 10 mm to 250 mm. Available in carbon steel or stainless steel, they are used in furniture, medical equipment, lamps, fitness equipment, sliding doors and centrifuges.

Unlike standard gas springs that start at higher forces, the GASTAC mini series begins at 10 N, making it suitable for lightweight lids, panels and guards without over-powering them. Custom stroke, force, end fittings and surface finish are available — send us your drawing and we will build to match.
