10mm ball stud, when combined with end-fitting on the gas strut, allows for 360 degree swivel from the ball-stud and up to 90 lifting angle. Most ball-stud / end-fitting combinations allow you to lift the strut up about 20 degrees vertically once attached – this will allow for the strut to lift up vertically to 90 degrees. We recommend using this combination for applications requiring 0-60 degrees
