De uitgeschoven lengte is de hart-op-hartafstand tussen de eindfittingen wanneer de gasveer volledig is uitgeschoven. De gesloten lengte wordt op dezelfde manier gemeten wanneer de gasveer is ingeschoven.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><p>De slag is het verschil tussen deze twee lengtes. Kies een slag die de volledige beweging toelaat, zonder dat de gasveer aan het einde van de slag vastloopt. Ook de hefboomarm, de openingshoek, de montagepositie en het aantal gasveren be\u00efnvloeden de kracht.
